John is Of Counsel with TimberlakeSmith with his primary focus of practice in three areas of law: Business and Corporate, Estate Planning and Administration, and Real Estate and Land Use. Specifically, his services focus on resolving commercial transactions within and between businesses, facilitating estate planning and administration, and securing trusts and estates.
John received his B.A. degree in 1967, his M.A. in 1968, and his J.D. in 1971, all from the University of Virginia. He was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1971, and he served as clerk in 1972 to Justice George M. Cochran of the Supreme Court of Virginia before joining TimberlakeSmith.
