Love and King Serve The Valley Mission

Tate Love, partner at TimberlakeSmith, and Kay King, paralegal for the medical malpractice attorneys at TimberlakeSmith, dedicate time and energy to Valley Mission, a local non-profit that has been providing basic needs to the homeless in our communities since 1971. Last year, Valley Mission cared for 663 individuals, which equates to 24,570 nights in the Mission's 125 bed facility, 53,643 free meals, and 170 emergency food boxes for individuals in our community. The Mission also provides case management, pastoral counseling, mental health and substance abuse counseling, computer tutoring for adults and homework help to students, nutritional education, and more.

Mr. Love assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2018. Ms. King has been on the Board since January 2017, and became Secretary for the Board in January 2018. Together, Mr. Love and Ms. King donate professionalism, leadership, dedication, and countless hours of service to Valley Mission and the multitude of ways the Mission provides assistance and support in our communities.

TimberlakeSmith applauds the efforts of Mr. Love, Ms. King, and its other employees who volunteer and serve our communities. TimberlakeSmith also is proud to be an annual corporate sponsor of Valley Mission.
