Ross has significant trial experience having tried over 50 jury trials in state and federal courts throughout Virginia. Ross also regularly handles claims and cases in West Virginia and North Carolina, with tried and true local counsel, retained as necessary. Ross offers his clients aggressive, effective, and cost-efficient representation. This representation includes Rapid Response to accidents and Early Resolution of claims before suit is filed.
On a selective basis, Ross also represents people injured in accidents.
Ross also enjoys using his experience to assist parties in resolving cases through mediation. As part of his practice, Ross serves as a mediator and is available to conduct mediations. Ross' litigation experience helps him relate to both plaintiffs and defendants and their risk managers or insurance carriers in mediation, thus increasing the chances of success. Ross offers a cost effective approach to handling mediations. He is available for in-person mediations and can conduct remote, Zoom mediations without incurring an additional charge for technical assistance. In his mediation practice, Ross is committed to resolving cases and disputes and always willing to continue his efforts, in the event a first mediation session does not result in resolution.
Ross was educated at Washington and Lee and its law school, where he has taught trial advocacy as an adjunct professor. Ross was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1985 and the United States Supreme Court in 1992.
Ross' hobbies include travel with his family and various sports afield.
